I did an internship at the headquarters of a hotel chain in the role of marketing assistant. ... Now I always write it in English, because it is cool ... but this .. Basically, my job as a sales and marketing (I should also take care of that aspect) consisted of a mere activity of mailings sent to travel agencies and tour operators.
The only interesting task entrusted to me (complete white paper) has been completed the application and the relevant annexes to the extent POR on the internationalization of SMEs with regard to obtaining assistance for the implementation of measures , aimed at the international development of tourism enterprises. This allowed me to make contact with those responsible trade fairs of the main Italian and foreign companies.
I could have done, and above all learn a lot more ... the tutor who was side by side (role accorded to the director) was either busy or there was ... the market analysis were nothing more than research ("do Cojo Cojo ") of the main buyers on the Internet ..

(Just between us .... I photocopied contracts, and other documents I saved on the pen-drive important files ... when the boss was not there ... I know, you do not ... but desperate times call for desperate remedies!)
Not to mention that the computer crashed frequently ... and I was forced to change to a different room each day to find a location free and functioning ... among other things, evidence of obsolete computers and there was more than a short-sighted.
I had the idea to create postcards with pictures of hotels, to create pathways of taste and culture, sports, cooking classes, art exhibitions, conferences, special packages dedicated to celebrations such as Valentine's Day, Women's Day ... to implement a CRM software (Customer Relationship Management), enter new market portals Puglia and more, which would involve all structures of the chain.
E 'likely to have thought just nonsense ... the rest I have not said anything new ... but it is by brainstorming some good ideas that come ... after all, often serve large companies to do their jobs well ... .. as I learned the great George Gandellini, professor of the master that I attended in Marketing & Sales Management, we need common sense ... Who would say that this is the main ingredient for success?! .... but, you know, simple recipes are the best.
I was, unfortunately, in a place where the news were not appreciated ... but most lacked the enthusiasm, the enthusiasm and good sense ... of course!
On April 28, my internship is over ... I remember that day that nobody in the company of those who had uttered words that would go away. ... All came into my office ... .. including the director greeted me warmly with including basin (Giuda!) ... and just, well ... ended

The experience was not, however, useless ...
First: I broke the ice ... before entering the working world, I was anxious. ... I thought I was inadequate ... understood, however, are not all that Einstein .. so with greater experience and a bit of self-esteem, I would be perfectly able to perform my job well ...
Second, I realized that despite serious efforts, I must not make the work a personal issue (I had a heated exchange of views ... so ... let's call it a responsible measure to the Region POR) ... so, no more utopias that everyone should behave with respect and education ... In the workplace, and beyond, we must learn to deal business with savoir faire ..
Third: Do not forge too engaging with colleagues ... I met some wonderful people who helped me and put me at ease, but for how happy I am to have found not just good colleagues also good friends, I believe that this could cause problems .. maybe envy by those who do not have friends ... (director and colleague, a friend of the director).
